  1. Do you teach children?   Yes!
  2. How old do they have to be?    I do not have a set age limit.  I prefer to meet and work with the child one time before deciding.  All kids are different and each has a unique learning style.  However, please note that the sheer lack of strength in a young child plays a large part in their ability.
  3. Do they have to wear helmets?  YES!
  4. Do you supply any gear?  I have helmets.  It is preferable to purchase your own helmet if you will be having more than one or two lessons. 
  5. What should they wear on their feet?  Boots. They may take the first lesson with no boot.  After that lessons will be conducted on the ground until they wear a proper boot.  NO open toes allowed.  
  6. Do you teach adults?   Yes!
  7. Do you have to own your own horse?  NO!  We use my well trained horses and ponies.
  8. How long are the lessons?  Approximately 60 minutes.
  9. Do you teach group lessons?  No.  I work with each student individually.  I do conduct group skill building workshops.
  10. I have 2 kids that want to learn, can they come at the same time?  It depends on their abilities.

  12. Do you offer packages for multiple lessons?  Yes.    See below.

  17. What is your cancellation policy?  Please call at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson.  There is a cancellation fee for lessons that are not cancelled within 48 hours.
  18. What about if it's raining?  If we are not able to conduct a lesson due to weather I will  update the online calendar.  There are of course, no fees for this.
  19. What if I need to cancel and I've prepaid?  Please provide at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled lesson.  If you do not notify me of your intent and do not show up at the scheduled time, the full lesson fee is applied.
  20. How long do I have to take the lessons I prepaid for?  12 lessons are taken within 16 weeks.  8 lessons are taken within 12 weeks and 4 lessons are taken within 6 weeks. You must still notify me 24 hours prior if you are not going to be there.  Weather related cancellations are not included in the extra weeks you are allowed to miss.
